Hi,

what are some of your favorite sites to download foley/field recordings? or do you record your own? What do you do with them in your music? processing etc.

Field recordings is the great way to fill the space in track. Someties it could be a begging, something, that's giving you a theme/idead for a track. Some use it as something in the background or barely noticable at all, other like it to be really loud and obvious. It's up to you, I guess. For me that was only 1 time I actually properly used for kinda rainy song. Even used a sound of thunder as hit/whoosh effect. And would love to get myself a portable recorded.
